Information about your work
Be ready to describe your usual role, hours and the tasks that are difficult. Details such as lifting weights, repetition, reach height, walking distance, driving, tools, awkward positions or prolonged sitting can help make rehabilitation more specific.
What if something is missing?
Call the clinic before the appointment if you are unsure. The insurer may need to confirm eligibility or treatment approval. Missing information does not change the need to seek urgent medical care when an injury is severe or rapidly worsening.
Privacy and communication
Information relevant to treatment and the claim may be communicated to authorised members of the treating and claims team. Ask your physiotherapist if you are unsure why information is requested or how it will be used.
